7/63 for Kerrigan. Should win this from here and that would be the double over our nearest rivals for promotion. Get a win at home against Glamorgan next week and you'd get very good odds on us not going up

Been some good tight last days of cricket today. Was hoping Surrey lost their last couple of wickets and left Notts chasing 180 in 20 overs or so for a good finish. Don't know whose gonna win the tittle. Durham fair running through some teams. Stoneman and Borthwick both improving batsmen.

Lancashire and Northants away at the top of the second division. Lancs have Kerrigan though to win them some games, Northants short of quality spin bowling options. No-one else behind you'd say are guaranteed to put a good run together really.

Back to just the 7 T20 games tomorrow.

Delighted to see we are going to be back in the top division again next season, but we are still in desperate need of some reliable homegrown batting

Does look good for Lancs.

Northants could definetly be caught but as has been said needs a side to put a run together. Really can't see Hampshire doing it unless Carberry and Adams really turn thier form around. Would have real chance if they did and Ajmal arrives but I don't know what has gone on with that deal.

we don't want that big quitter back. quit test match cricket, quit odi cricket, quit it20 cricket and now quits all cricket. what a big fat quitter. if that was him batting with agar he would have quit.

Dernbach being there at the end with Ponting is beautiful.

Bopara has a side strain and is out for 6 weeks so that puts to an end his ashes hopes!

Plenty of juice in the pitch at Cheltenham, nearly 1200 runs scored and only 11 wickets fallen after 3 days, non of Kent's main bowlers can be bothered to bowl in the second dig. Surely pitches like this are just as bad as those were 14 wickets fall on the first day

Least both teams agreed on a runchase on the last day. Could have been a desperate draw otherwise. 410 on the last day probably about right given the match scoring rate.
