Rashid is still performing well but I'm amazed that England rarely try to take a look at other options. If Rash suddenly gets an injury before a tournament who'd be next in line? Mason Crane doesn't get mentioned these days but at least has a lot of experience in this format.
You don't have too look any further than Rehan, he has done nothing wrong in his Enland appearances, but yeah wouldn't hate Crane being around, but three leg-spinners seem a bit odd.

I know he had some critics come the end, but I think we miss Moeen as the batting all-rounder, capable of thumping a few, and bowling some cheap off-spin overs, the side certainly looked more balanced then.

An off spinner who can bat wouldn’t go amiss. Rashid looked very slow last night. Sure he was tidy but didn’t look threatening.

That's what Livingstone offers. I suppose Chohan might be next in line for white ball. I'd rather Rehan was kept back for Tests.

Wood has had a miserable 'comeback' so far. Both he and Archer bowled a lot of short stuff, perhaps they were told to do it, but they were very expensive.

Archer has variations but Wood is just a 90mph bowler, full or short. He has no slower ball. Given his injury record I would save him for Tests. Tbh England should have no dual format bowlers. Keep Archer, Topley, Mahmood etc for white ball, Wood, Atkinson, Carse and Woakes for red.

I don't understand why Mahmood has not played the first 2. He's shown he's adept at picking up wickets in the powerplay, should bowl with Archer.

It should also be pointed out that there's an Englishman currently topping the batting stats in the SA20, averaging 70 at 141 SR, arguably the best player of spin England has ever produced. He's also taken a few wickets with his off spin too.

And yet we pick that hacker Salt ahead of him. At least he'll be back for the ODI's, but it's hard to see how he wouldn't improve the T20 team too.

Look calling Salt an hacker in t20 is a bit of a stretch, his It20 record is pretty darn good,

He shouldn't play 50 overs, oh and I'd like Banton in there somewhere.

wood is an absolute prank white ball bowler. was thrashed in the last world cup in the same country. should be nowhere near these squads.

Averages 15 against India, Australia and SA. He's only of use in the WI it seems. He's always been hit or miss, but you can pretty much guarantee what it will be when he plays against any half decent bowling line up.

Anyway, they've picked the same team for tomorrow. Surprised Mahmood hasn't had a look in yet.
