So 4 glorious days of sunshine (Day 1 rained out) then?chris.hinton said:the weather for Durham will be this
Thursday: Sunny Spells
Friday: Light Rain turning Cloudy
Saturday: Light Showers
Sunday: Heavy Showers
Monday: Heavy rain
Personally I would play Johnson mainly because he is quicker and Zimbabwe struggled badly agaist the quicks in the 1st test, also because of the statment made by Bazza above, plus IMO Johnson is a better batsman than Kirtley so make our tail stronger.Bazza said:With a choice, I say Johnson - more of a test match bowler for mine and deserved a chance ages ago. Kirtley should have been in the ODI squad, and maybe I would say he's too similar to Anderson....
It works for the BBC!Neil Pickup said:Out of interest, where do you get these weather forecasts from, Chris? Drawing pictures out of a hat?
Neil Pickup said:Well, it does look like we're going to a have an occluded front parked across the Midlands for the end of the week.
I'm expecting the most of the rain delays to be at the start of the Test, with the weekend likely to be best for play.
And I couldn't care less about the Monday, as it isn't going to be needed.

There's then weatherfront on top of weatherfront moving in from the Atlantic Ocean through Friday to Monday, and their exact movements are very difficult to predict.
