Agreed, it was frustrating beyond belief with how pedestrian he was after his first injury since getting into the team. We need Root to really have his head on properly and not overbowl him like hoe he likes to leave Jimmy and Broad on forever.

83 overs is fine; they wouldn't be in any kind of trouble with the overrates. Without any DRS use at all, they needed to bowl just 85 overs.

On what basis did they need 85?
