Genuinely thought Wood had the world at his feet after two very good back to back tests in the UAE in 2015.Then the injuries came.

Two in two balls in his first over, what a start.Lets hope this is a long run in the team that yields plenty of success for him

That.. was quality... From Wood. I've seen it all. Brilliant change up ball. Great length. Chase threw it away.

Oh wow, what a couple of overs. Wood looks miles better with a long run up, hopefully Root has sense and only has him doing skirt spells to keep his pace up, every ball was over 140 there.

It doesn't look like a stable, sustainable action. Guy is literally biting dust every other ball.

Wood actually bowling quickly outside of a t20, the novelty!

For real though, after however many years on the international circuit this finally looks somewhat like the bowler we were promised. Just one spell though.

Another impressive over from Wood, he needs to work on the follow through just a little bit too stop stumbling, but the seam position was fantastic for every ball and his pace is massively up from when he was last on the team.

He's fine until pulling his back leg through after delivering the ball which he doesn't do quickly enough. His flow through his action is so much smoother than it was when he was last in the team.
