Ignoring the game situation.

This just ilustrates the problem with a 5 man attack. There just are not enough overs. You always have bowlers underutilized and twiddling their thumbs.

You always have he 5th bowler bowling who by definition isnt as good and takes overs away from the better bowlers.

5 bowlers are to many for 28-30 over sessions.
Only worth it if each bowler offers something radically different. And allows for an X factor bowler, but unfortunately our pick (Harmy) has no chance on this pitch.

If you're suggesting that McGrath is a better captain then Warne then I'm really confused? Warne is probably the best captain who never was.
No I am suggesting that Mcgrath's experience would be good enough to cover for Monty's seeming inability to take control of his own bowling parameters which hopefully would bring the best out of him, which in my opinion ould make him more dangerous than Broad.

Stuart Broad, clearly the best bowler in the world

What happened with Flintoff/Pietersen & Gayle before? Caught a muted replay of something that might well have been nothing...

Samuels isn't a very solid batsman though. Neither Bravo, but he's > Samuels.

Bravo > Samuels.
Probobly, but might not have been putting enough emphasis on Seth Efrica series. Samuels was solid enough in that series, it's just hard to tell whether that was him turning a corner or a purple patch, history would assume that it's a purple patch.
