Gotta love punditry of a Fast bowler, whilst Overton's wicket was rightly called lucky, people are genuinely saying Wood's extra pace got him that wicket, okey-doke.

True! It wasn't like he had Kraigg backing away towards leg or quaking in his boots either. He literaly edged a wide half volley.

Always felt it would be inevitable Foakes would drop a few when he came back, so much talk over his 'keeping. If Jos had dropped that one he'd have been rightly slated. There are very few Wicket-keepers who don't spill a few.

Will be forgotten though, like when Jack Russel was dropped for his 'keeping in the Windies I think.

It does seem to be a bit of a competition between who can bowl or bat worse in this innings...

Whereas as Roach, Holder and Seales versus Bairstow I felt was quality test cricket yesterday.

This is a mad lucky innings from England and a mad rubbish innings from us.....

Good session that for us. WI must be bad to be behind in a game to us.
Tbf it's pretty much as predicted. Our bowling is test class, our batting is associate level. Bairstow rescued England and it could be the difference between the 2 sides. Which given England's attack in this match, makes me very sad.

How many locals are actually in the stands? I haven't seen a single one on camera while I've been watching?

It makes me very sad too Beamer. This one was there for the taking. From 5/110 or whatever it was too... FFS.

Update: I've just spotted a local!

About 200 max apparently. Tests starting on Tuesday to suit the UK television deal means West Indians can't watch from the start and the location of the stadium means it's difficult to pop in after work.

Also most Antiguans work in the hospitality & tourism sector and 2,000 Brits on holiday after 2 years without them = locals having to work.

I'm going to regret saying this but they haven't put a foot wrong against the reverse swing so far.

Did he bowl a shower of? Going for 5s while 1100 wickets sit at home. Amazing.
He really wasn't good, seems to have lost a yard, but was bowling all-round the wicket too, figures flatter him if anything.
