I've always thought he looks better when batting positively. I remember him making an excellent 80 odd in Australia where he scored quickly when everyone else was struggling.Uncharacteristically Kraigg.
I don’t know if he’s channeling his inner Dwayne Smith or wah ?
Nah, it's obviously going to be a discussion point, it was made so by the selectors. It's pretty major as an English cricketing topic, dumping two of our best ever bowlers for this. Hey if they recall them in the Summer the fuss maybe forgotten.Getting kinda bored of the Broad/Anderson chat.
We won exactly 0/3 series' with those two in the side in the West Indies.
We'd probably have been 240 all out with Broad/Anderson in the side over Woakes/Overton.
Not saying I agree with the selection but please give it a rest.
Indeed I feel like this game is still evenly matched and given how England have bowled that is a travesty.Well considering how we've bowled I'll take that.
At least England have Root and to a lesser extent Stokes. We have a team of Zak Crawley's and Dan Lawrences...I was thinking that it's OK for the West Indies because they wouldn't have expected too much from the openers anyway. Then I looked at the rest of their batting and... oh, oh no.
I think I've seen enough of England over the years not to discount the possibility of some bloke I've never heard of making runs against us.I was thinking that it's OK for the West Indies because they wouldn't have expected too much from the openers anyway. Genuinely though, England have bowled terribly. They've literally strangled one wicket and benefited from two terrible shots. For me this is worse than us getting bowled out for nothing against Bumrah and Shami and Nortje and Rabada. At least that was world class bowling on a tricky surface.I think I've seen enough of England over the years not to discount the possibility of some bloke I've never heard of making runs against us.
Anyway, 3 down.
I admire your optimism. I'm thinking less.159 all out loading…
