The selection of Tredwell in the final eleven was far less objectionable than his selection in the squad to begin with IMO. Rashid as a specialist spinner isn't really an option -- I'm pretty sure he's in the squad as a potential second spinner/allrounder option -- but Tredwell being picked as the squad's specialist spinner just made absolutely no sense really.

Yeah this is basically it. The outrage should be with the squad selection not the XI selection.

He just not very good at it. No imagination and is devoid of ideas. Needs his players to just be better than the opposition. Comes up short when they don't deliver.

So Chris Gayle said he had back issues after the WC so he was gonna miss the Tests..

Wonder whether he'll retire shortly after he gets there. I mean, what else is there for him to achieve (besides maybe playing a test match with his son).
