Pretty great cricket from England today, I don't think any of the dismissals have been that poor, just great bowling and fielding.

Dont get carried away now. He is bowling up and down and keeping it tight but not really looking like taking wickets. Not bowling terribly but certainly not well unless by 'well' you mean he is bowling better than the low expectations you have for him.

I have always felt that Cook deserved a bit more respect in the last couple of years. His axing from the ODI side was unfortunate, you cannot make these last moment changes before a WC. The selectors should have been bold and planned for the WC 2 years prior(even if it meant replacing Cook with some other player), they shouldn't have used Cook as a scapegoat at the last moment. And they replaced him with Morgan, whose form and temperament has been really bad.

Many people have raised questions over Cook's captaincy, but looking at the kind of team that England have, and their style of cricket, Cook is the right man to lead the side. I think they needed a good coach who can fit in with the kind of methodical approach they follow. Someone like a Dravid or Kumble would have been great for them.

Well is hardly glowing praise but I think it's fairly accurate here. Bowling in a Bresnanian fashion so it isn't very exciting.

WI have a good chance? Nah. You're basically talking about a team scoring 400, a good batting side would have a reasonable shot. But WI have scores of 295, 350-7, 299 and 307. On what were featherbeds compared to this.

Looks like you called that one right. I was swayed by the fact that six of them have made tons against England and thought that some of them might actually succeed in the same match. One forgets how often each of them fails in between their occasional good innings.

Still could be tight if Blackwood bats for another hour or so, especially with Trott being a walking wicket and Ballance maybe unable to bat at 3.
