***Official*** England in Sri Lanka

gettingbetter

State Vice-Captain
Trvia question time.

What do Damien Fleming, M Prabhakar, Paul Collingwood, Scott Styris, Aaqib Javed, PS de Villiers, DNT Zoysa and M Dillon have in common.

On second thoughts, this question won't be as suprising as I would of thought.
I know the suspense is killing you guys  . The answer is that they are the 8th highest wicket takers amonsgt their respective countries.

Meh, I thought there would be more distinguished names were Collingwood's name would dismal amongst them and highlighted the poor nature of English ODI bowling.

Well that's a shock.... 8-) EDIT: Regarding Flintoff's fitness, not what you said.

I reckon England might win tonight. Backing my man Broad to take 3 wkts, and Pietersen to do something

Well we bat first, but it'd be foolish to back us against Sri Lanka. Still no Mascarenhas. 8-) FFS, couldn't have a pitch that'd make him more difficult to get away than these Dambulla ones and he misses both so far.

How on earth Charles Colville got the role as a TV Cricket presenter I will never know...the man talks absolute garbage.

Nouwt wrong with him IMO. Though it does annoy me that he'd see an excellent bowling performance from someone like Maharoof and say, basically, they should have played it out because he's not a big name. That's certainly not unique to him though.

It's his style of presenting which bugs me tbh, so sarcastic and patroinising, Haha, Maharoof your average county plodder or "He's not a Brett Lee". Did he even play cricket?

I can, and it was huge - Flintoff in the Champions Trophy 2004. That was off Vaas too.

And caused some of the worst scribing in history, championing a pretty awful innings (had 2 other let-offs) as if it was the Messiah Innings. 8-)

Maharoof should always open, it's hardly a secret Maaalinga's not a good new-ball bowler and Fernando never takes it because he hates it too.
