we should be walking over England given the fact that they have no talent of thier own... Do english kids just sit in front of thier PC all day and eat big macs?
You might want to wind your neck in an inch or two my friend.

Anyone else think that Mark Boucher may have upset jboss personally? Would explain his irrational hatred...

jboss, if you report a post, it'll be dealt with. Like vic, I haven't received any notification that you've reported posts, so next time you see a post that you take offence to please make sure you fully complete the reporting procedure and it'll be looked at and dealt with by the mods.

Secondly, if a mod has already edited your post and warned you not to avoid the filter, editing it back is absolutely not on.

Right, those posts concerning the issue have all been deleted.

If you wish to take this up further, you can contact us at moderators@cricketweb.net . From our end, we'd appreciate it if you didn't avoid the filter, as those words that are filtered are unacceptable in any context. Words that require context to be offensive are not automatically filtered.

Also, if you continue to bait English posters about their players with South African ties, then don't be surprised if you still receive insults from other members. We don't condone it, but if you are trolling, then it's hard for the rest of the posting community to respect you and what you have to say.

Well I can not help for people obviously taking what I have to say out of context. I am not baiting any fan here and I wanted to discuss things in a decent mannor. I don't know what the average age of the forum users are here but judging about the amount of off topic replies, it can't be very high. I do no like SA anyway as I no longer live there and am just visiting. Besides our sport is more of a joke than the english at the moment and I feel i have more been attacking the CSA for thier issues that have lead to them questioning why they have a dwindling an base. Sport unites a nation but not ours as politicians use it as a political tool.

Recent proof of politics in our sport:
Our rugby team.
Cater seminia being used as a tool by the ANC because of the publicity she recieved.
Julius malema questioning why no "white" south africans were at the airport welcoming our black athletes yet no sign of him when we returned from having won the tri nations.
Then ofc quotas in cricket which england is exploiting. They can do the hell what they please but they should be putting pressure on CSA to not bow to pressure of our governments agenda, yet instead chose to do nothing because it benefits them. It is the same thing as aprtheid where politics affected our sport and the world was denied seeing Richards, Procter, Pollock etc. Of course back then Eng benefited as they do now and back then they also did nothing and supported such actions by rebel touring here. So if you think the topic is attackig the englis, it is not. It is a joke that we werebanned from international sporting events for so many years and yet still we have politics in sport. It is an insult to people like Pollock, Procter, Richards, Rice, Cook that nothing is being done. I personally wish to see more pressure on CSA.

Great start by Amla and Smith so far!

Saffa will have to post 300+ to secure the game as usually CT is known for the support to team batting first!

If you really want to discuss what happened in the 1970's & 1980's wrt SA being kicked out and the subsequent 'rebel' tours, then please open up a separate thread - wadr it has no direct relevance to the current tour. Of course, you may have to put up with people providing an alternative take on the matter to your view - tbh there's so many errors in your last paragraph I wouldn't know where to begin. But I will try in a separate thread if you really want to discuss it.

They're looking well set for a big score here - 325 at the very least. Can't see England getting close, especially if things change under the lights. ffs even Collingwoood's bowling like a complete ****** now.

Nice to see Broad's still not worked out that he bowls best when he pitches it up. Still sticking with the banging it in half way down plan that's been working so well...

Eng will continue to be a middling ODI team until they find some bowlers

They have some good batsmen who'll win them some games but with this attack, you'd fancy more days like this I'm afraid

If South Africa win this, it's 13 in a row in Newlands D/N games for the team batting first.

 What a terrible delivery to get a wicket with. Gotta feel for Amla, was a good innings. You know that England'll be bowling 90% short deliveries to him in the next game now.
