Swanneh gone :(. What a player. What a gun.

I just heard that Carlsberg just offered Swanneh a sponsorship deal. If Carlsberg were to do Test cricketrs they'd probably the be the best Test cricketer in the world. We already have Graeme Swann.

Great start. Prince gone early, if we could possibly get another in these last few overs SA will be under real pressure tommorow!

Would probably help if Onions pitched the bloody thing up. If this was Broad bowling back of a length like this he'd be getting crucified. There's been 1 pitched up delivery in this short spell from Onions, just not good enough to a player like Harris who is camped on the back foot.

Happy with the SA performance even if the tail wagged a lot. 71 ahead is good advantage especially on deteriorating pitch. They just have to make sure they bat through tomorrow.

We're still in this one. The lack of Swann under the Fletcher regime becomes more and more mysterious with every passing game.

And I can't believe Jimmeh used to bat below Monty.

Swann would have been a shoe-in for Fletcher, as he can bat and field. That would have made him a perfect replacement for Giles but at the time, Monty was the 'star' domestic performer and Swann wasn't. Prominence came at the end of the Fletcher tenure and Swann had some very quiet seasons during 04, 05 and 06.

It is but with the forecast weather, South Africa has blown an unbelievable great chance of going 1 zip up.

Performance also against the tail also has shown up Ntini and Morkel. Morne should be in his element here yet de Wet, first test nerves and all has been the most impressive seamer.
Huge pressure on Smith now to see South Africa through to a good total, when it should have been pressure off, 150 run lead and some license. Expect more attritional cricket from the Proteas tomorrow.

Yes defo rain 2morrow and Sun so we prob headed for a draw. Weather forecast for Centurion in Gauteng (South Africa), 1455 m. ? yr.no = weather from world's most trusted weather site.

Not that any of this would matter with the dissmal bowling and pathetic captaincy from Smith. SA looked unmotivated and that is the captains fault. Ntini really has had his day I feel.
