Most runs/balls survived from Cook against Lyon was in that last innings at the Oval, which even then is nothing compared to what he's done against Herath, Ojha, Babar, Rehman etc.

I think after his success against Ashwin in India you could've said he was a good player against off spin, but he's struggled against Williamson, Lyon, Craig and even Malik since then.

Yeah, they don't make it publicly available, which is annoying. If you want to find that stuff out you either need to keep track of ball by ball data or hope someone else who does is kind enough to tell it to you.
It's not a good measure tbf because it makes no account for pressure built at the other end (which vs team batting statistics inherently does)

Ashwin wasn't as good then as he is now either.
