Two options for England:

Just bat the whole innings out - get all your runs in the first knock.

Hammer down and look to declare, or be dismissed, about 40-50 minutes before tea. Give a totally demoralised batting line up a nasty half hour or so and the opening bowlers a quick pre tea gallop.

They may decide to carry on while we have proper players in and score quickly and then decide we have 5 bowlers + Root so have 3 days and an hour to get 20 wickets knowing we have a week off after this test. I guess the coach and captain are already discussing this. Get 700+ some time after tea and see how many wickets we get tonight from a battered side.
