Edit: Oops. Thought it was Shoaib I was responding too.

The only response GIB deserves is a sound smack on the bottom and grounding for a couple of months.
Considering your love for human bottom, you should try a career as a nurse in some Mudarressa for old ppl in ur coutry. There you will get plenty of bottoms to wash and smack !

Confident England

Collingwood eyeing tour whitewash

Collingwood has featured more as a one-day player for England
England's Paul Collingwood believes the team can achieve a 3-0 whitewash in the forthcoming Test series in Pakistan.
"That's our goal," said the Durham all-rounder, who won his third cap in the final Ashes Test at The Oval.

"We're looking at things to achieve and going to Pakistan and India we want to win these series.

"Whether we win them 2-1, 1-0 we're going to be happy to win the series but I certainly think our main goal in Pakistan will be to win 3-0."

Touring Pakistan is widely regarded as one of the more testing experiences on the international calendar.

And Collingwood told BBC Radio Five Live: "It's a major challenge but everybody is looking forward to it."

We know what we want to achieve in the next two years and we're not finished now just because we have won the Ashes

Paul Collingwood

Only Marcus Trescothick and Ashley Giles played in England's last Test in Pakistan, when they won the final match in virtual darkness to claim their first series win in the country since 1961, although Andrew Flintoff, Michael Vaughan and Matthew Hoggard also went on the tour.

"There are not many players in the squad who have experienced the subcontinent but this is a very good side and players can adapt very quickly."

In response to Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer's remark that England may struggle for motivation so soon after their Ashes triumph, Collingwood said: "That comes down to the individual.

"We just want to improve as a team. It's an interesting comment but we know where we're heading.

"We've got our team goals, we know what we want to achieve in the next two years and we're not finished now just because we have won the Ashes."

Paul Collingwood will be writing a regular column for BBC Sport throughout the tour.

It means school right? i was referring to nursing school.

If someone got offended then i appologize, but i was only retaliating to a poster who attacked me without being provoked.

I've heard Shabbir Ahmed may be left out of the X1 to accomodate Gul.

I'm surprised because I rate Shabbir as a dangerous bowler - more so than Gul.
Gul can be a dangerous bowler if the condition suits him, one good thing about him is that he's very disciplined.

Shabbir will be playing after getting clearnce from ICC , and he will be in presuure for being called for no-bowling by the umpire while playing cricket. As such it won't be a bad idea to get Gul in the team at the expence of Shabbir.

Not onlyYasir Hameed but even Taufiq Umar has been left out because of his poor performences.
They deserved to be left out, but having said that i must say that they happen to be one of the best batting talent to have emerge from Pakistan lately, and Pakistan team will only going to get poorer if it continue to lose talented players .

Madrassa means a place where some people(less than 5%) go for getting religious education (its not based on islamic teachings though & found only in pakistan & india amonst all the countries where muslims live)& the madrassas r runned by people who think that we should only acquire religious education & say good bye to formal education .IMO,all these people r retards & they r hated in almost whole of Pakistan except for some tribal areas .Some Madrassas in tribal areas have also been linked with Osama Bin Laden's terrorist organization called Al -Qaeda in the past but now they have been sealed by ur government.

According to the new rules, the umpires r bound to report the illegal action to the match referee rathen than themselves taking any action during the match.

I don't think Pakistan have really good spinners (with the exception of Kaneria) to really trouble the Englishmen.Mushtaq Ahmad flopped badly against SA and i think he can do anything special against English team.Kaneria and Akhtar will do most of the damage to England while Gul can surprise England too.Afridi can trouble England with his quick legspin but i don't see how he can be accomodated in the test team.

I would go out for,

Malik
Butt
Younis
Inzi
Yousuf
Asim
Akmal
Akhtar
Shabbir
Gul
Danish

I think Bob Woolmer now should realise that M Sami has done nothing at international level to be persisted with in Pak test team.I would even say a half-fit Akhtar is better than a fully fit Sami.

Pak should really dump Sami and should give youngsters like GUl or Mohad Asif a longer run in test team.

How many teams do you refer to as "we" exactly? You were doing it with Australia in the Ashes, now you're doing it with England - is it just whoever's the favourite for the series that's happening at the moment? 8-)

And this dream of yours is not gonna come true this time at least.Winning Ashes after 18 years doesn't mean that u have become he best side of the world,Australia r still # 1.

What a fantastic platform the Poms can set for the Ashes in 12months, if they vanquish Pakistan and then India, on the sub-continent. Then, if they come Down Under and retain the Ashes, they will, without question, be the best side in the world. To that end, I think they will hammer Pakistan and draw with India.

Agree with all of that. I can't see Pakistan putting up much of a fight, but India will prove tough, especially with Tendulkar back. Although given the way England have smothered the likes of Lara (except for the 400*), Gilchrist, Martyn, etc in recent times I wouldn't bet against them coming up with a way to stifle the great man's run-scoring.
