***Official*** England in Pakistan

THEY'VE DONE IT!

Absolutely brilliant performance by Pakistan, winning by an innings and 100 half-way through the 2nd session when the odds were 1.05 for the draw at lunch. Total domination. England may have squeeked by against Australia, but just look at this!

Well done Pakistan! A great performance and one for the ages. I also want to congratulate England for a well-played series. It was a great series to follow. I can't wait for the ODI's!

People here will try and angrily argue anything they possibly can. Get used to it.
Well with the standard of recent new posters making stupid comments, is it any wonder?

Meh, series will go to Pakistan anyhow, with England being completely outplayed in every match.
Sorry, but how do you get completely outplayed from the First Test?

Has collingwood done enough in this game to cement a spot ??
Was just talking to Neil about this.

It would be incredibly harsh to drop him after this game, but unless there's a rethink on the Flintoff role for India, they've got to perm 5 from Trescothick, Vaughan, Strauss, Bell, Collingwood, Pietersen.

Which one should miss out?

Well out of them it could only be KP, but he's not played all that badly. Why is it that they can't play all of them?

Because the team make-up only allows for 5 batsmen plus Flintoff, Jones and the 4 bowlers.

The only way to fit them all in is to pick 6 and drop one of the seamers, which is easy if Jones isn't fit, but if he is, then who goes then?

That was a pretty ordinary capitulation on what was still a pretty good wicket.

Bad news for Eng is that it only gets worse when they go to India.

A number of their batsmen have to take a long walk in the hall of mirrors as only Tresco, Bell and Colly can hold their heads up.

It was an exciting series overall.

I have become a solid fan of Iain Bell and Paul Collingwood after this series. Both of these batsmen delivered when it mattered and were it not for their contributions, England's batting performance would look bare.

England's quicks bowled really well throughout the series. Even though the conditions didn't suit them one bit, Flintoff and Harmisson in particular kept toiling on and on, never losing heart - hats off to them.
