yes i do, but over the past couple of weeks with the australia/west indies & england/pakistan series showing in the morning hours i have been constantly coming into school very late... :p
I don't get to hear much play on the radio (don't have sky) unfortunately. It's usually get up around five past seven in the morning, switch on radio, listen to entire lunch break, hear first over or so then off to school...

well thats unfortunate that you dont have sky mate, if i were ypu i would take the radio to school but that could be useless at times because if i get caught with a radio in class it gets seized (which happened last week)

Obviously nothing, that's why Pakistan can continue to cheat and suffer virtually no penalty.
You are right..justice is an abstract concept otherwise Butter fingers would have been banned for next match.

You've made your point. Let it rest.
I expect the same comment to those that keep going on about Bell, even tho they can't even show with certainty that he didn't take the catch, let alone whether Bell would have known if he'd not caught it and without knowing what Bell may have said to the umpires at the time.

So 67 wickets in 2005 so far for Flintoff - equals Harmison's England record and most by a pace bowler this year. Still 10 behind Warne though!

Warne requires 9 more to take the most ever in a calender year
I don't place much value in that stat though, because teams don't play the same number of Tests each year. It's as meaningless as stat as Brian Lara having participated in the highest percentage of defeats of any player.

From memory he's just moved ahead of Alec Stewart & in third place is Allan Border. You'll never see a more worthless trio.... :p

I don't see why it's a meaningless stat. It tells the truth - that the teams of which Brian Lara, Alec Stewart and Allan Border played a large part of their career were three of the poorer of the established test sides in cricket history.

I think the point is that to view Lara as "test cricket's most defeated player" is (whilst factually accurate) a clear case of not seeing the wood for the trees.

As Brumby said, it's a stat which basically blames these players for the fortunes of their side. "Biggest loser" and whatnot. It doesn't take into account that the teams Lara and Stewart played for are rather crap.

Good point, the English management have got to sort this out. The amount of overs hes getting through is shocking. Harmison has got to take the new-ball with Hoggy. I know Freddy can do a great job as opening bowler, but he can do a great job at any time: quick explosive bowling in short spells; good containing seam to create pressure when batsmen are on top; vicious reverse swingers when the ball gets older. Yet clearly he can't bowl all the time no matter how much our captains want him to. We need to pick a 4th seamer, even if it is Anderson, or Freddies gonna be bowled into the ground, with a tour to India to come too. We miss Simon Jones badly.

Still good performance from England today, and we seem to be just about crawling our way into this match. Almost certain it will be a draw, but theres chances all round now!!
I actually think a draw is far from certain. I think Pakistan's failings in this innings have ironically given them a shot at victory.

It's most likely that Pakistan will get bowled out in the first session leaving England 60 to 70 overs to hit 250 maybe. Take out 10 overs for bad light and it's still game on.

England will go for it. Can't see them hitting 250 in 2 sessions but it will open the game up for a result in any case.

Key of course is Inzamam and whether the tail can stay with him.

One other thing - Why the hell do Pakistan play test matches during the hours they do??? I mean if you've got to come off for bad light every day when there's not a cloud in the sky shouldn't you be pushing the starting time forward. It's ridiculous.
