I've never seen him bowl medium-pace...I did however see him bowl 'spin' at 130km/h when he took that five-wicket haul against Kenya.

I am not watching but.. good to see Naved take some early wickets. I remember thinking he was absolute class watching him in the VB series. Not just a ODI player, no.
I thought the same. Very talented cricketer, IMO.

I know the Inzy run-out has been mentioned at length earlier, but I don't see the real answer.
When it was referred to the Third Umpire was he only allowed to judge the line call purely on whether the batsman was in or out of his ground or could he tell the umpires on the field that it wasn't out because of the evasive action rule?
But then again on the field was the line umpire the only one who could say whether or not it was referred to the third umpire or could the umpire at the bowlers end have intervened and said Not Out even though the line umpire had referred it?
These are both matters of law and seem unclear to many people.

Purely from a matter of opinion I'm not convinced that it was clear enough from the TV pictures to be given out anyway.

twas a shame about inzi, what makes it even more infuriating is that Afridi and yusuf were given somewhat dodgy decisions too. All 3 were well set, and had they stayed, Pakistans' score could well have gotten up to 550.

Anyhoo, i'll get back to crumbling my cookie.

If you ask me, i think its very much possible that both Rashid Lateef and Bell didn't knew that the catch wasn't legitimate whenever they took it.I supported Rashid Lateef at that time and thought he was unfortunate to have ended up serving a test ban, i just hope same doesn't happen to Bell.

Uh... did you see the video of Latif's "catch"? He dropped it, it rolled on the ground, and he picked it up and claimed the catch.

I've only seen the photo at cricinfo (which gives a clear enough indication that Inzy was definitely evading the ball) and I would also like to know, but I presume this question has not been answered yet.

I had a few procedural questions related to this with some of the decision-making in the Super Series, but to my knowledge, those questions were never answered. Hopefully there'll be some clarification on this from the ICC. Sambit Bal just wrote an article at cricinfo (in his usual hysterical style of course) in which he asked similar questions.

Not possible on this wicket, i don't expect anything less than 350 from England in first innings.

But then Pak has Almighty Rana Naveed ..so anything can happen ;)
He's already taken two wickets, so I'm hopeful anything can happen. ;)

Bell playing well here, good knock thus far. Trescothick dependable as ever, Pakistan need to get a breakthrough soon.

Huge explosion. Smoke rising, spectators clutching faces, eyes. Several ad-boards smashed into pieces. Play stopping, players huddled in the centre surrounded by security.
