Aussie the ball definitely hit the ground with Bell's catch. His hand let go of it temporarily, it was obvious to see. Tresco's I think was fair though.

Another one! The Poms are bloody cheats. The ball hit the ground before being "taken" low by Trescothick, and like Bell, he was more than happy to claim it. What is going on? Can't these guys play fair?
Interesting comments coming from the same country as Greg Chappell (the underarm) and Greg Dyer (arguably the worst catch that wasn't in history).

C'mon Clown...from a neutral point of view I do admire their commitment to sport but everyone knows Aussie would do anything to win.

Pot calling the kettle black??

Didn't see Bell's, but Trescothick's looked very suspect to me. Afridi probably would've done something stupid and got out next ball anyway, never thought he'd make triple figures.

The ball was travelling upwards when Trescothick got a hold of it. You could tell that it had hit the ground from the side view in slow motion.

Aussies are more honest than Poms. Admit it. How many of the English batsmen are known to walk?

Bell & Trescothick both should be banned for 5 ODIs or 2 Tests each just happened as in the case of Rashid Latif. But why would they be banned as ICC's all the rules & regulations are for Pakistanis. This English team can easily lose against any test playing nation other than BAN & ZIM, if umpires don't help them & they don't claim the catches after dropping them. Both of those catches r worst example of cheating in cricket. If some Pakistani had done that,he would've definatly be banned for god knows how many matches.

Well then, what a terrible way to get out for Inzamam... It was clearly out, but then there's supposedly something in the Laws that says a batsman can't be runout if trying to avoid injury while inside the crease...

What do u guys think about Inzi's wicket, he was well within in his crease when Harmison just throw the ball at him, inzi trying to get ouut of the way, to avoid an injury he moves and ball hits the stump while inzi's foot is not grounded.........Should that have been given out?????

My small knowledge of cricket tells me that it shouldnt have been, what do u think?

Third umpire got it wrong.

Giles test average creeping up towards 40 now, at the sensational rate of 2.63 wickets per test. :p

Interestingly, the only players ever to play more than 50 tests with a bowling average of more than 40 are Mark Waugh, Carl Hooper, Sachin Tendulkar and Viv Richards.

Sensational bowling company for Giles to be joining.

edit: whoops, I was looking at 100+ tests. Oh well, I still can't find a single specialist bowler who's played over 50 tests with a 40+ average.

Inzi wasn't out according to the commentators. The law apparently states that if the batsman is not attempting a run and is within his box, but his foot is the air in order to avoid getting hit by the ball, as was Inzi's case, the batsman is not out. So pretty much he was trying to avoid injury while still inside the crease. Terrible way to get out. That's the second dodgy call that went against Pakistan already, both were against in form batsmen. Oh well.
