***Official*** England in Pakistan

This game is far from over - I have it 60-40 Pakistan right now.

Have the LBW calls turned down been very close, or were they flagrantly bad?

I might agree on the odds. The LBW calls have been very close as far as I can tell, other than the one with Trescothick on 48 in the first innings.

60 runs to get - 3 wickets left.

Game's wide open. Pakistan needs to get Udal out, pronto. I think they'll start with the duo of Akhtar and Shabbir after lunch, and maybe Sami.

this game of is shizzlin it, all to play for this afternoon, Pakistan are definately favourites now but the poms have showed so much over the last year that they never know when they are beaten. But hopefully England can win before i go to school but that very unlikely

60-40 Pak I have it. One more wicket and that's about it really, Hoggy and GBH aren't the best at playing spin. What a thrilling test though whoever takes it. Admittedly a few poor shots executed today, but good to see Pak stand up and be counted here.

More than 10 forum members including Barney Rubble, nehrafan & vandemataram predicted 3-0.nehrafan's saying quoted in my signature is the example.
Yes, I did, and I don't think you're yet justified in saying I was wrong. England could still win this game, it is not under any circumstances over yet. And I believe we'll win the last two Tests regardless, especially as it's looking like Vaughan will replace Collingwood, and Plunkett may replace Udal.

EDIT: Almost forgot - don't call me an idiot.

Flagrantly bad (appeals) some of them - possibly the fielding side are a little excited.

If England win it - this will go down in the book of Lazaras comebacks.

England are on top and look like they are in charge, Pakistan fight back and set a challenging total, and England look like losing a match that could have been theres.

If Pakistan win it, it'll go down in the book of Lazaras comebacks. If England win it, it should go down as another example of England doing it the hard way.

Is this going to be as tight as Edgbaston?
If England lose it will be Flintoff's fault for throwing his wicket away twice with pathetic shots that were not needed in the situation. After all he is supposed to be a top 6 batsman.
Also KP played a pretty awful one today.

Yeah, every asian (pakistani in particular) who is a sign of danger for English & Australian batsmen is a chucker.Every current Pakistani bowler is a chucker just as Wasim & Waqar were ball temperers.
Really?

First observation - Shabbir a year ago had a distinct 'kink' in his action that was well over the limit, hence he was told to go away to do remedial work on his action. The work he has done has improved the situation drastically.

Second observation - Why do people who have (had) problems of an elbow-related kind always bowl with their sleeve buttoned down?

I really wish I had your confidence, but we really are still well behind the 8-ball.

Where r those idiots now who were predicting "3-0" before the start of this test match?
You're counting your chickens as much as they were, because it's still very possible that 3-0 could happen. (Does this make sense???)

C'mon Pakistan, don't bugger this up....

Bold statement - if Jones goes, then even getting the last 20 will be tough. England's tail will find it hard to stand up to Kaneria and the inevitable Shoaib barrage. For the record, by "tail" I mean Hoggard and Harmison, as Udal can (obviously) bat.
