Dude..drink a clod glass of water...and another glass..and another glass..until you cool down. It's just a game and in any case its severly less blatant than what Rauf gave the other day.Shoaib said:Billy Bowden should be hanged till death in the ground once the game is over.
I actually think that Rauf's decision was very fair. I looked at it very closely, and saw that confirmation of a bail completely leaving the stumps before the bat reached inside the crease could not be obtained. Yes, the stumps had been disturbed, but that's not what matters.Sanz said:Dude..drink a clod glass of water...and another glass..and another glass..until you cool down. Let's just move on with the umpring and concentrate on the game..I hope Pakistan win this one..
Its too early to say that England won't win this. They need 75 runs and Udal just hit a boundary. Anything can happen still.Shoaib said:Where r those idiots now who were predicting "3-0" before the start of this test match?
Match is not over yet..and afaik no one on this forum said 3-0..and even if they did, they have the right to say what they think. That's why it is called 'PREDICTION'.Shoaib said:Where r those idiots now who were predicting "3-0" before the start of this test match?
The benefit of doubt always has to go in batsman's favour.Sanz said:Dude..drink a clod glass of water...and another glass..and another glass..until you cool down. It's just a game and in any case its severly less blatant than what Rauf gave the other day.

In which case Bowden was dead right as there he wasn't sure, so it wasn't out - benefit of the doubt... also there's the small matter of the knock-on effect that is bound to have on future run-out decisions.ClownSymonds said:I actually think that Rauf's decision was very fair. Then how can you complain about that bat-pad being turned down?Shoaib said:The benefit of doubt always has to go in batsman's favour.
More than 10 forum members including Barney Rubble, nehrafan & vandemataram predicted 3-0.nehrafan's saying quoted in my signature is the example.Sanz said:Match is not over yet..and afaik no one on this forum said 3-0..and even if they did, they have the right to say what they think. With Bowden's decision on Trescothick's almost-LBW, it's more of an issue of umpire incompetence. Yes, he can't really be blamed for making a bad call, but that should've been pretty easy for a Test umpire. Rauf made a decision based solely on the Laws and repeated observation. If you read the Laws and look at the replays, that's not out. The knock-on effect it is bound to have should be positive, if anything.Neil Pickup said:In which case Bowden was dead right as there he wasn't sure, so it wasn't out - benefit of the doubt... also there's the small matter of the knock-on effect that is bound to have on future run-out decisions.

Well he has an FC average of 23.38 with 28 fifties, so he can't be too badnightprowler10 said:Udal batting well enough. I don't think many batsmen would've survived against the delivery he got out to in the first inning.
