If it does turn into a pudding it wouldn't be that surprising because it was very slow when it was new. The ones that really spit tend to have a bit more pace and bounce to start.Sign of the pitch being a pudding there - long half volley, should easily have been put away, but wasn't timed well enough to go to the rope.
Yeah this is reminding me of those UAE pitches more than anything else.If it does turn into a pudding it wouldn't be that surprising because it was very slow when it was new. The ones that really spit tend to have a bit more pace and bounce to start.
Happy birthday when his replacement does what he can't and gets runs.In another news , Today is Babar Azam
Maybe Stokes being out there helps him. I remember when Cook gave up and Root took over the spinner seemed more in the game for a while as Cook was negative with the spinner once Swann retired then Root went defensive too as time went on.Bashir bowling fairly well here. Better than the first Test
Eh, I think they'll be fine. They're all strong players in low bouncing conditions.Yeah this is reminding me of those UAE pitches more than anything else.
I'll be very interested to see how England bat on this if it does turn out that way. Those pitches tripped up a few visiting sides who tried to push the tempo too hard (McCullum himself being one famous exception)
It's going to be hard work IMO. In that context two wickets is an okay return.I would have taken two wickets at lunch when we lost the toss but it feels like we need more under the circumstances. Hard to judge expectations here
This is even more a case of waiting till both sides bat than last week. Only know on day 3 who is on top I feel.I would have taken two wickets at lunch when we lost the toss but it feels like we need more under the circumstances. Hard to judge expectations here

Scoring quickly without seemingly trying has become a real feature recently. I think they will be fine.Yeah this is reminding me of those UAE pitches more than anything else.
