ChachaBallThe revenge of the uncles. Now, if only Pak can avoid their third innings curse...
It's the magic from Sajid sins. Not been able to follow England’s innings, was it a matter of batting poorly or the pitch doing things? Going from 221-2 to a position where Pakistan are likely to have a first innings lead seems to suggest it’s more of the former
Not quite time yet to start smacking it all over the place considering Carse is a borderline all-rounder and Potts can hold a bat, but he has form for such innings the last time England collapsed against Sri Lanka. Still not impossible England can reach Pakistan’s score, and while that would on paper put Pakistan in the driver’s seat, with their record of third innings of late, who knowsbig test for young Jamie tommorrow, if he could produce a gutsy 50 he could cut down the lead to like 50-60 runs them we're in for a good test, if a 100+ lead then it's over.
If not for aggressive approach England would have been 150/6 or worse at stumps.England must rethink their approach in these conditions they cant play with hard hands vs spin
4 zip in these conditions and it is only down to Eng's "approach" that they have managed that.England must rethink their approach in these conditions they cant play with hard hands vs spin
I wonder when the other type of jerking over how they play will stop too.4 zip in these conditions and it is only down to Eng's "approach" that they have managed that.
So sure, we should rethink our approach after one bad day.
I do wonder when all the knee jerking over the way Eng play their cricket will stop??
In fairness, the pitch now is different to those games, particularly the last Test and Rawalpindi 2 years ago, pancakes suit us down to the ground, but when the pitch does things it’s a fair question to ask whether we should tone things down a bit4 zip in these conditions and it is only down to Eng's "approach" that they have managed that.

England's approach in the tour in India came across as stubborn and even reckless. They could have done much better in that tour.In fairness, the pitch now is different to those games, particularly the last Test and Rawalpindi 2 years ago, pancakes suit us down to the ground, but when the pitch does things it’s a fair question to ask whether we should tone things down a bit
It feels churlish to say it was a big chance to beat them at home when they haven’t lost to anyone since 2012 when we beat them, but they were missing key players. You have to say Root, the most proven top level bat of the lot, has learned from that tour, the others seem to have one gear, though I would say if they start trying to play ‘sensibly’, I’m not sure that’ll suit them, has anyone ever seen Duckett play a defensive shot in his life?England's approach in the tour in India came across as stubborn and even reckless.
