Not been able to follow England’s innings, was it a matter of batting poorly or the pitch doing things? Going from 221-2 to a position where Pakistan are likely to have a first innings lead seems to suggest it’s more of the former

Not quite time yet to start smacking it all over the place considering Carse is a borderline all-rounder and Potts can hold a bat, but he has form for such innings the last time England collapsed against Sri Lanka. Still not impossible England can reach Pakistan’s score, and while that would on paper put Pakistan in the driver’s seat, with their record of third innings of late, who knows

4 zip in these conditions and it is only down to Eng's "approach" that they have managed that.

So sure, we should rethink our approach after one bad day.

I do wonder when all the knee jerking over the way Eng play their cricket will stop??

In fairness, the pitch now is different to those games, particularly the last Test and Rawalpindi 2 years ago, pancakes suit us down to the ground, but when the pitch does things it’s a fair question to ask whether we should tone things down a bit

England's approach in the tour in India came across as stubborn and even reckless. They could have done much better in that tour.
