**Official** England in New Zealand

does any one know where the 20/20 stats were from in that nz vs eng. match.. were the using and incorparating domestic with intl. stats or were they all domestic.. it seemed they didnt explain where they were from..
Atleast although De Groin being ****house he knew how to gloat when running someone out.

Southee bowled a damn nice line, good control. Next test is to bowl him without so much protection.

Why is it that a 19-year-old in his second international match is more accurate than seasoned "professionals" who are squirting it round like a drunk porn star? Mills is a disgrace. As for Hitchcock...

That made for really depressing watching from a NZ point of view.

Can't believe it, this must go down as one of New Zealand's weakest ever sides. Honestly can't see us getting close to them in the ODIs either, my prediction would be 4-1 England based on what we've seen so far in the Twenty20 series.

Martin being our so called premier fast bowler really shows where our bowling stocks are at.

Agree that this particular side is as weak as i can remember since the mid-90s. However I still think we will edge the ODI's provided Vettori and Oram are fit.

Not sure why the stupid NZ selectors prenamed their ODI side without having a look at Southee at the top level. With all our injuries and the loss of Bond I'd play him.

Ugliest dismissal i've seen for ages from Taylor.

Can't wait to see How smash his way to 16 from 28 balls

damn had money on NZ, was pretty sure we couldn't string together two wins in a row. Wouldn't be surprised if they smash us in the ODI's now though if Oram and Vettori come back

Nz do not have the power to win Twenty20 matches. Expect closer things in the ODIs.

Mills is a good bowler. He's just not a death bowler.

Here is some good news for NZ sports fans who want to know, the Breakers have beaten the second placed Melbourne Tigers 105-91 to move into 5th position on the NBL ladder.

Disappointing but not unexpected. An action replay of Eden Park. All I realy have to say is a top three of McCullum, Ryder, Taylor is too unstable and a middle order of How, Styris, Fulton is too slow. I can see what the selectors are trying to do because they realize their is instability there so they're putting brick walls in the lower middle order but TBH batsmen should be in their proper positions, no openers at four and no number fours at six.

Another fatal flaw is we seem to think ODI and test players can carry results into 20/20 games. 20/20 requires accuracy and a good SR. How, Fulton, Martin and Mills are all good players but they aren't really 20/20 cricketers.

I am a little hot tempered atm but I think its perfectly reasonable to tell Taylor to use his brain and score some decent runs in the nest three matches or the likes of Ryder and Fulton will move into number three in place of him. A great talent has degenerated into a midwicket slogger at this point in time and I find it very disappointing.
