He also usually has a very safe pair of hands. Has had a dreadful test.

I really don't think it should matter. Not necessarily advocating for Cleaver's selection because he was poor several seasons in a row, but don't think we should be turning our noses up at players just because of the numbers on their birth certificate.

The sad thing about cricket is Latham can get out early doors, again, but if a bloke battles to 65 and gets out they say ‘he was set, did the hard work, but he didn’t go on’ i.e. he’s the one criticised.
