9 wickets down and a proficient all format player seeking quick runs - the only time the reverse scoop (or any scoop) vs a fast bowler makes sense. And I still don't like it aesthetically.

If the NZ brains trust wasn't so conservative I'd say Blundell was skating on very thin ice right now.
Even if there was someone ready to take his place, I wouldn't bank on him being dropped. As it stands, there is absolutely no chance. Easier to be dropped as an AB.
