Such as the guy I remember at Lancaster Park who, when NZ were struggling for runs in difficult conditions kept shouting at the batsmen "JUST HIT IT HARDER!" at one point, when the batsman (can't remember who) smashed one (straight up in the air) he shouted "THAT'S IT! HIT IT HARDER" and when the same shot ended up with the batsman inevitably caught then exclaimed "YOU DIDN'T HIT IT HARD ENOUGH!". Those are the people ole Scotty is for. The clueless, the inane and superficial.
Looks like they have picked him on potential like a few of their other younger players, only time will tell if it pays off.
