**Official** England in Namibia and Zimbabwe

They were because of dead-rubber syndrome and a meaningless competition, remember? Not to mention the fact that, at The SCG, Australia were without two or three players and that was a legitimate reason for their loss while England were "making excuses" when they had about 50 times those injuries in the earlier part of the series.
Don't try to point-out to a one-eyed Australian cricket-follower that they're one-eyed.

Updates on CEEFAX sure are slow. England 54-1 off 14 overs, 42 overs per side. Bell out for 0 unfortunately and Solanki not out 23... ugh.

74-2 off 19 overs - Solanki gone for 28.

It's not a proper ODI is it? Would make averages look better if it was for Vaughan!
Probably a 'List A' game, Vaughan's average for those isn't too crash hot either.

Shame it wasn't an ODI or higher status, could get some interesting headlines from Windhoek and 4 players called Burger

I hope England don't end up batting first too many more times this tour, if we're defending a score below 250 it could get a bit dodgy.

Happy that Namibia batted well considering AJ Burger was out fairly quickly.. Good practise for both sides.. Good to see Vaughan in the runs And well bowled Gileo!

i hope they don't drop bell for the matches against zim after this
he's a quality player but not an opener
err it is an ODI against namibia, if he doesnt score against their bowling attack on a flat wicket in any batting position then perhaps hes not good enough?
