Tour games are about getting confidence and getting into form ahead of the series, who cares if they're not playing a spinner.

If they were going all out spin to exploit England's weakness then that would be fair enough. But this isn't about trying to win - the opposite in fact. The motive is clearly to piss about with England's preparations and they're quite happy to sabotage themselves to do so.

Then there's the all too predictable bull**** the BCCI are pulling with Sky and the BBC.

I hope the ECB as a one off try the same trick when India come over here, imagine the wailing then from India when Gavaskar is denied the opportunity to go to the ground unless they pay way over the odds to let him.
