I wouldn't object to such a strategy at all myself, but I'd be astonished to see it employed.I think he should get Flintoff's overs bowled as soon as possible. He is never going to prevent Indians from scoring anyway after 40th over.
In any case, even if Flintoff concedes 6-an-over in 3 overs in the last 10, others might be hammered for 9-an-over in the same time. Flintoff is an exceptional death-bowler. Mind, he's also an exceptional bowler at any stage.
