Haha.... was thinking about doing that myself, but then i just thought i should let you do the honours.....England
I think he feels Monty is better equipped to handle the spinners than him....Bizarre tactics - first ball single for Prior again
He didnt really even need to go after the bowling, could have just blocked out the first few deliveries and given Monty a couple of balls to face at the end of the over. Giving bowlers like Ishant and Bhajji 5 balls to plot Monty's dismissal is plain stupid. Can't really blame Prior for not farming the strike. Could hardly hit out against a 126 over old ball, and he has played the best knock since Strauss to throw it off.
if you break this partnership you get another wicket soon that has been the story off late ..really hope i am wrong this timeThis partnership really has been the crux of the Indian batting card off late. Breaking this partnership early is imperative to England's chances in this test match.
Why not put Monty at Opening with Cook and put Andrew Strauss down at number 11.That way we have a mean ass tailender. Seriousily bell is and has a decent record at number 3 lets just leave him there. He's shown he is not capable of farming the strike. So promote him up the order and get Bell at No,7 to farm the strike.
This really is the sort of time when I love to quote myself. Well bowled Anderson. This is good bowling from Anderson so far, bowling inswingers at Sehwag. He drives away from his body without too much foot movement and generally leaves a big gap between bat and pad.
Anderson has shown off late that he can bat better than some of our middle order players. The next Andrew Flintoff? Why not put Monty at Opening with Cook and put Andrew Strauss down at number 11.That way we have a mean ass tailender. Seriousily bell is and has a decent record at number 3 lets just leave him there.
