One of my friends just messaged over msn that he has some inside information that Sachin will retire from tests after this match. How I hope he's just kidding with me! :(

Inside information? Unless your friend is Sachin's mother....he/she is lying :)

Come what may I am not gonna cry about umpiring decisions.

Me neither, if England win this game, it won't be because of umpiring.

Simon Taufel really is a great umpire. However, it still didn't look plumb to me.

If anyone besides Sachin and his family even caught a whiff of such a thing, it would be all over the media. Media outlets would pay a lot of money for that exclusive.

Taufel is a God among mortals. Hawkeye's agreed with him every single time. I thought Kumble was not plumb, but Hawkeye agreed with him there too.

India did not go for a win (or just attacked, you can look at it either way) till very late in the first test. That was when the series was tied 0-0. The score is 1-0 now. They are most unlikely to go for a win till post tea if at all. (Also if they have wickets in hand)

The pitch is playing very well. So I do not see an English victory until India does some thing stupid. A draw looks most likely to me.

Not neccessarily the whole team, only Dravid. If we lose him early, its going to be really uphill to save the match. I would say, without Dravid, India's chances of winning is not as affected as the chances of drawing.
