***Official*** England in India

I think England have already given up the match.they are batting at an average of 1.9 runs per over, that got to be a disgrace!!

With 85-5, England would hopefully fold up for less than 150 and India won't have great problem in chasing for victory.

Kumble to Flintoff, no run, a bit of turn and bounce, plays it to silly point, Yuvraj puts it down, that might just be a costly miss, sometimes its a mystery as to why do not the specialists field at bat pad???

I wish this is the last chance dropped by the Indians.

Even allowing for an England total of 150, that would still leave your guys with a target of more than 270 to get.

Won't have a great problem? I'm not so sure.

Maybe that won't be all that easy to get since England have a good attack, but i think that had England batted more positively then they could easy have 50-70 more runs, which would have made a big difference.

IMHO looking at the present indian batting form any total above 150 is going to be a test for them.i think flintoff would looking to add 100-130 more runs in next 45 overs that will give them a lead of 330-340 with 105 overs to be bowled.Just one early wicket and england would have the indians in a very difficult situation.

I'll have to take your word for it (satellite receiver has packed up) but perhaps India are bowling particularly well, and maybe pressing at this stage would be foolhardy?

Yeah looked what happend when Pietersen tried to be more positive. The fact is India with the seamers bowling outside the off stump and Kumble bowling around the wicket have stopped England from scoring. I say it is good cricket from India not bad cricket from England.

I couldn't take it anymore. For those with limited vocabulary like me -

Main Entry: ar·thro·pod
Pronunciation: 'är-thr&-"päd
Function: noun
Etymology: New Latin Arthropoda, from arthr- + Greek pod-, pous foot -- more at FOOT
: any of a phylum (Arthropoda) of invertebrate animals (as insects, arachnids, and crustaceans) that have a segmented body and jointed appendages, a usually chitinous exoskeleton molted at intervals, and a dorsal anterior brain connected to a ventral chain of ganglia
- arthropod adjective
- ar·throp·o·dan /är-'thrä-p&-d&n/ adjective

See?

Everywhere. I remember Ziggy Stardust and the Parasitic Telepathic Arthropods From Mars. The signs were there but people ignored them - and now look.

Arthropods, spiders, crustaceans, crushed Asians, insects, crickets - it all fits.

You mean people actually missed the segmented body and jointed appendages, usually chitinous exoskeleton molted at intervals, and a dorsal anterior brain connected to a ventral chain of ganglia. Noo!
