***Official*** England in India

Pathan caught at long-on just before the new ball arrives - off the bowling of Udal. A very, very irresponsible shot. Still has a lot of learning to do, Pathan.

Important breakthrough for England - India are in real trouble now. Dhoni under pressure.

quite brilliant captaincy that, brought long on up half way up and encouraged pathan to go after udal and clear the man. and brilliant stuff by hussain suggesting it only a few overs earlier.

Pathan goes, Udal lovin' it.

Loss of concentration. :D
Poor show throwing it away after having done the hard work. This along with Yuvraj's chasing the wide one is what the crowd and every Indian fan showed be displeased with.

Come on Dhoni, come on Kumble. Lets see some fight.

Really Pathan, just stupid.
Now, now. 2 days ago you were much more forgiving of these minor mistakes. Please don't destroy the sanctity of this board.

Another brilliant cricketer of the 'new brigade' out to a SECOND STRING English spinner who can do everything except spin the ball.

Pathetic.

Of course Srinath believes some guy call ODDUL is playing...hmm..sounds rather odd to me.

The question is, if and when India get bowled out with more than 200 to go, do England enforce the follow on?
Even if it happened, no.

Too hot to field twice in a row IMO, not to mention the risk of India piling on 400+

In fairness to Kumble, he's done pretty well with the bat so far so we're not completely in control yet.

On top though, didn't get to hear/see any of the other dismissals.

Yes, Nasser is really very very good. More than makes up for Srinath's idiocy (well, not quite) who was harping on the spinners being useless.

Listening to Nasser is a real pleasure.

hes bowled well by his standards, more importantly hes been far more accurate and hes realised that he cant just survive by being solely a 'swing bowler'. however not a single one of his wickets, along with the 2 dropped catches were off good balls, in fact at least 2 of them should have been put away for 4. so hes continued with his happy knack of picking up wickets off poor balls, much like for the rest of his career.
Anderson's entitled to a bit more credit than that. 12 overs for 18 suggests he's bowled pretty tightly, so it's no wonder that batsmen have got out chasing the occasional looser deliveries. We are, by some distance, looking at his best performance in test cricket. If this is evidence of a genuine improvement, then good luck to him.

Nasser hussain is a pleasure to listen to because much like in his captaincy he has some brilliant ideas and theories.
of course when it comes to excitement, history or anything to do with numbers hes not really particularly brilliant.

anderson has been accurate, and his figures reflect that. that in itself is quite an improvement because that was his major problem for the majority of his career. however you cannot deny that by and large hes been completely unthreatening on this wicket. certainly miles ahead of plunkett though who IMO is below rubbish.

I don't reckon the bails were off. When the crowd cheered I figured he was given not out, but instead he was given out. Can't understand this Mumbai crowd lol.

I know! I was praying and when I heard the cheer some relief came, but I was devastated a second later. The people here are weird.
