But if you remember last year Usman Khwaja also faced the same issue and we had 10 pages discussion. The rule regarding Pakistan origin players was made in 2009 . And it is 2024 . Maybe teams should be more aware regarding visa of Pakistan origin citizen and apply beforehand .

Bashir only got picked based off a training camp in December. Rehan Ahmed is still using his Visa from the World Cup, hence why he's ok.

They still applied on the 10th December for Bashir that's surely enough time. When Ben Stokes is more of a threat being in India.
