Gives me no satisfaction and I don't consider myself Nostrodamus for saying it, but yes, it does rather look like Dusty n co have dropped a proverbial.btw your comments before the previous game about Prior opening are looking pretty spot on mate. That's two innings amounting to six deliveries and zero runs if my maths is up to scratch this morning.
As you said at the time, it's make more sense to bat him down the order - he's got to have more idea against the slower stuff than most of our middle-order batters. Let Bell open imo - he's done it before and he has the technique to cope against the new ball.Gives me no satisfaction and I don't consider myself Nostrodamus for saying it, but yes, it does rather look like Dusty n co have dropped a proverbial.
Horrible review there, btw. What was Marsh hoping for? No-ball?
Good to see Shahzad moving it both ways tho. Encouraging signs.
Genuine question, have you ever seen an ODI where the batting team has used up both referrals only to see another batsman be given out when if he had of referred it, it wouldn't have been out?Horrible review there, btw. What was Marsh hoping for? No-ball?
Hmm okay. I don't think you'll find many instances of my example happening ever in one day cricket, so I don't really have a problem with a number 3 batsman using one for an LBW decision..Well no because IIRC this is the first time the reviews have been used in ODIs. That I've seen anyway.
Nope, but as Sparko says, this is the first time I've really noticed it. Can't recall if we had it in the ODIs in our summer or not, even.Genuine question, have you ever seen an ODI where the batting team has used up both referrals only to see another batsman be given out when if he had of referred it, it wouldn't have been out?
Too me a good 2 minutes to work out 'see you next time'.Lol. Don't think Shahzad and Haddin get on overly.
Nasser saying on comm the England boys think Haddin a "see you next time". Practically a qualification for a keeper tho, but.
Well as the old four stars seems to rile some people I'm trying it out as a synonym. "Client", my mum's preferred euphemism, another possible.Too me a good 2 minutes to work out 'see you next time'.
Would agree, but this is exactly the sort of game he should thrive on. A 60 scored at 60 would be a great knock.Bit painful watching Clarke bat right now. His feet are so slow.
