*Official* Double Match Day - NZ v Sri Lanka (27th Sept)

I think it's the strongest bowling attack we've had in an ODI in a long time.
It is no doubt. Bond, Mills, Tuffey and Vettori are all really good and at one stage each of them would have been considered our best bowler. Just need to protect Franklin a littlet; only have Elliott to be the fifth bowler with him now that Ryder is injured.

I was talking about who Sri Lanka have to bowl and who the BC's have to bat.

Plus now with Ryder pulling his groin he probably won't be bowling or fielding.

Oh, **** it!! That is such an absurdly stupid way to get.
If he beats the fielder the commentators all say "great shot, doesn't try to hit it too hard, just lifts it over the man". When he gets caught it's "stupid shot, didn't even try to hit it hard, just lofted it straight to the man!" You live by the waft, you die by the waft.

Shot Guptill!!

Might as well take the Powerplay now, seems a bit of a waste to leave it until the last five overs.

Sir James of Franklin to lead us to victory
Hopefully he can pull off what Johnson did the other night
Where are people getting this idea from, that Frankling will save the BC's? When has he ever pulled them through? When has he ever done it with consistency? The guy is a myth and drops his shoulders quicker than anyone.

Not sure if we can get to 300 here, but it's an interesting stat anyway - NZ's never lost a match after scoring 300 batting first.

While that's often true, when the man is on the boundary just trying to chip it is a very dumb option.

Just pathetic from the BC's. Sure he is a canny bowler, but come on, that's a joke.
Some of the wickets were pathetic, but not surprised he went for so few runs as Vettori and Guptill needed to get themselves in.

Huge thanks to Ryder that we could afford to bat slow for a while.

It's called optimism
