*Official* CW XI in Pakistan and Bangladesh

cbuts

International Debutant
i now know how sam tuitupou felt like when he didnt get named in the nz colts side. only to find out later it was because he was in teh top team. reading the cw a thread and seeing that i was being repleaced was a great shock. but upon reding this thread, i realised it was for a greater honor. obviously with the size of the squad some players will miss out, so any chances i get, i will take with both hands. cheers for the oppurtunity.

Not that a justification is needed, but take a look at your first season and you might find a clue as to why you're still waiting.
In real life, in the ACA anyway players are often given justifications as to why they aren't chosen! perhaps this could be a practise bought into this for some players.

Im absolutely thrilled in being recalled back in to the CW XI squad for the ODI's. My form's been fantastic as of late, and this is it really. One more shot to cement my place as a International player with the CW XI.

Hopefully I can do that, win matches with the ball and contribute useful lower order runs with the bat too.

Ian Markus
Season 5 (debut season) - 228 runs @ 32.57, HS - 54*, 1x50 in 9 innings
Season 6 (this season) - 567 runs @ 94.5, HS - 83*, 5x50 in 17 innings

A mediocre season then an outstanding season... with 11 not outs. That doesn't suggest that you demand selection and that should be as much justification as you need.

Ian i have told everyone time and time again that if they have any selection queries or anything to where they stand in the system to come to me and ill give you an insight, so you have no right to complain..

I doubt it very much that you'd see Cricket Australia going around to every player explaining to them why they didn't make they side...

Also why would we make any major unforced changes to a team which only just missed out on the WC???
