Unchanged England for third Test

England remain unchanged for the upcoming third Test, after a keenly fought second match, which ended in a draw. Some believed that Steve Harmison may have come in for Stuart Broad, but the young seamer retains his place despite some mixed form in the series to date.

England 3rd Test squad:
MP Vaughan (c), MJ Prior (wk), OA Shah, AN Cook, IR Bell, KP Pietersen, PD Collingwood, MS Panesar, SCJ Broad, RJ Sidebottom, MJ Hoggard. 12th Man: RS Bopara

Jasotharan called to CW XI service

Batsman to get first Test cap

Colts and Somerset batsman, Shan Jasotharan is set to make his Test debut against England, replacing opening batsman Thamba Mamesh in the squad. Mamesh has struggled thus far in the series, scoring 0, 30, 12 and 6. On the other hand, Jasotharan has been in stunning form, scoring 161, 41 and 33 not out in his three opportunities in tour matches.

Jasotharan is expected to play as a specialist batsman and slot in at number six above Mike Wilson, adding to an explosive lower middle order. Filling in for Mamesh opening will be Pete Young, who has not featured in the spot since his return to Test cricket last year.

Potential CW XI lineup:
1. H Moerk (wk), 2. PE Young, 3. AP Cloete, 4. CR Butler, 5. RJ Dauth, 6. S Jasotharan, 7. MW Wilson, 8. TC Halsey, 9. DM Kennett, 10. NS Pickup (c), 11. TJ Demeza. 12th Man: DP Smith.

International Captain
I've been anticipating this moment for some time. Hopefully Jaso won't let us down, and Young won't suffer any problems from his move back to opening.

Think we'll win this one, personally. :)
