And effectively end his CW XI career before it's even begun?
A lot of pundits are tipping you for some recognition after this season.

Last season they weren't...

After some not so great results off late, this is going to be a tough tour. I expect the CW XI. The committment of the players has been high in the previous tours.

Keep at it and I am sure we will have a lot to look back proudly at.

The CWBCC would like to announce the Test squad for the tour of Australia:

CR Butler (Black)
LA Camps (Blue)
AP Cloete (Blue)
BC Cunningham (Green)
BJ Goff (c, Blue)
TC Halsey (Blue)
NS Hoy (Black)
DA Kearsley (Black)
DM Kennett (Red)
H Mørk (wk, Red)
T Mamesh (Red)
NS Pickup (vc, Black)
GM Thomas (Colts)
PE Young (Blue)

Kyle Wright has been replaced by Greg Thomas following the latter's outstanding form in Dev League cricket. Peter Young may get another chance at Test cricket, while Marc Robbins' lack of runs both in the series against England and in recent Dev League matches means he's not recalled.

Appreciate being selected for this tour. Could be a huge tussle for a position in the XI though. Well done to fellow Black teammates and to all players selected.

Special congrats to Thomas, on his first selection.

Well done to everyone who got selected, im sure we will all do a great job for CWLand and really push the Aussies.

Well done to Thomas for making your first Test squad.

Fair enough, I wouldn't select me on my current form. Got to knuckle down and try to have a good off season to try and put pressure on those in situ.

The squad looks good. With the learnings from series versus the Windies, I hope we put in quality performances.
