Due to the call up of Ryan Dunn to the A squad to play South Africa A in One Dayers. Cricket Web Under 19 Board have called up CW Black and CWA opener Ashley Arnold. Arnold is expected to link up with the squad after the 2nd YODI against Australia. Arnold was selected ahead of a seamer replacement due to the fact that he is expected to play as batting all rounder.

Had to happen eventually, with poor form.

Scorecard
Ball By Ball

The tour goes from bad to worse for the Webheads, as the bowling had another rotten off-day. Sixteen extras and a no-ball hooked for six was not enough to defend 237, a total way lower than expected after Aseem Sharma's excellent opening galore, cut shor at 41 by a blinding catch from Davies.

However, all credit to Justin McPhee, whose three wickets in the initial spell turned the tide of a match Cricket Web aimed to control from the outset. The opening partnership of 56 showed signs of intent, but Read and Kerr failed to capitalise, and when McMeekin inside edged Wilkie for 32, Dwyer and Reddlapalli had to change their aim and merely batted out fifty overs. This worked, and Reddlapalli got away with a creditable unbeaten 65; however, Anthony Barton slapped the heart out of the bowling. In a brutal 55-ball attack, he got away with murdering the Webhead bowlers, who, apart from McNamara, were guilty of total lack of accuracy. Tim Buszard anchored an easy chase after the run rate had been scythed down by Barton, but was denied the century after poor batting planning. Still, it could not take away from a comfortable victory, and the Webheads are in serious trouble before their next ODI, a must-win match to stay alive in the series.

Cricket Web Under-19s 237 for six (50 overs)
M Reddlapalli 65*, CR Dwyer 45, A Sharma 41; J McPhee 4-44

Victoria Under-19s 238 for two (46 overs)
T Buszard 99*, A Barton 65

Victoria Under-19s won by eight wickets
Man of the Match: J. McPhee (Victoria)

Itstl, well played guys but very unfortunate to not walk away with a win.
Uhm 8 wicket win with that many overs to spare in doing it is a very comfortable win. Nothing unfortunate about it.

Batting went okay, nothing to complain about really. But we really need an improve in the bowling department. Need more pressure on the batsmen than that.
