Cricketer Of The Year

I was about to take umbrage with this list till I saw it was 2023 not 2024. I'd be interested to see what the latest version is although doesn't seem to be out yet. I think some late season races in Europe gain a higher rating because 3 year olds have improved and bring the average up. But no doubt in my mind, the Juddmonte was easily the best in Europe this year when City Of Troy peaked.

I'd say there's an opening this year for an International horse to do well in Europe. Next year's 3 year old crop doesn't look particularly strong at the moment whilst some of the best older horses have been retired.

I do think injury helped So You Think - chances are he'd have met Frankel at York in his next run, which is where this freakish performance happened.

So You Think probably places. Nothing would of beaten Frankel - a freak.
