Hehe. A bit too late. :D

Cracking effort. I don't think you should have any problems finding a club, the way your career has started. :D

Out of curiosity, when the ODI sides are playing List-A sides, are you using their ODI stats or their List-A stats?

I use an improvement upon their international stats to reflect the gulf between the teams. Not sure about the Norwayese one, but I presume its the same.

Happy enough to go for 51 off my 10 against Aussie, considering they scored 300. Also captured the not-so-prized wicket of Katich, and even managed a not out with the bat. Wow.

I actually didn't bother to do that, just used the international stats as they were.

(rationale being: They're not going to give 100 % anyway, because it's a warmup.)

Great to hit some form in the OD arena for the Blacks their. Very happy with a not out knock of 48.. blacks played extremely well seeing as tohugh we were understrenght and still beat a world class side.

Greeat stuff boys.

I don't know if it's possible to make changes to the Colts side this late, but if you can take out Pitt & Jaso and bring in Resha and Nayak, that would be great... making the team as follows:

AS Das
P Bharat
G Nayak
JB Malthus-Howell
SJ Burke (wk)
AJ Fensome
NR Hancock (vc)
TV Weber
DJ Comley
KS Wright (c)
GM Thomas

If it's too late, no worries. Just keen to give everyone a go.

Great batting by Fatty and Buts in our warm-up and fantastic bowling by Camps, well supported by Hoy and Tom. Happy to get Stedders.

Very confused in pretty much all the other matches with the bowling choices. Some people seem to be on fire, and they don`t get to bowl their full 10, sometimes not even close. Blacks and Greens were very impressive in their warm-ups. :D

A statement of authority
Australia to open up against Bermuda

Come Saturday expectations are fairly uniformed as Australia looked to start their campaign toward World Cup glory against the lesser might of Bermuda. It is a definite tale of David against Goliath, except the likelihood of Bermuda even troubling Australia are as slim as the young cricketing nation winning the entire tournament.

There may be questions surrounding the potency of Australia's bowling attack, but one expects that they won't factor much in the result. Bermuda gave an impressive showing in their warmup match against Pakistan, but the world still waits to see how exactly they handle a date with the best team in the world.

Player to Watch: Mike Hussey
Behind the form of 72 off 71 balls against CW Red, Hussey is back to full fitness and apparently full potency.

The constant underachievers meet the confident upstarts
South Africa face off against Ireland

It was certainly unexpected to see South Africa slump to defeat against CW Black in their warmup game, but more so because of the manner in which it happened. The batting looked rusty and the bowlers lacked edge, as the Blacks capitalized and rammed home a good win.

Elsewhere, Ireland were springing their own ambush on neighbours England. Impressive Irish bowling caught England off guard, and they failed to chase a moderate 211 for victory. That confidence sees Ireland ideally placed to chase another upset at the start of the World Cup tournament.

South Africa will be looking for redemption, however, and a good start to what they hope to finally be an end to their World Cup draught.

Player to Watch: Andre Botha
Perhaps the talisman of Ireland's World Cup ambitions, Botha's allround abilities will be needed at the forefront of any challenge posed by his team.

one has to ask where did Holland go off to ?
Bermuda over holland ? :S
After a recent diplomatic breakdown between Holland and CW Land, mainly caused by the innappropriate behaviour of the Dutch team during their recent tour of the country, the ICC stepped in and added a big boy in Mr Leverock to pacify the CW Bar heavyweights, who were baying for some Oranje blood.
