Saw the match live, great game that was.

Anyway congratulations to Clapo and Goughy, hope you guys do well if selected.

Will be a shame to leave Durham, yet again I found county cricket a good way of getting some form.

Just hope that if selected I can continue it in the ODI team.

The county cricket stint is almost done anyway. You've finished your OD service.

Oh right - fair enough - I think just about every time I batted I scored more than I did in the whole last dev season, but didn't realise it had gone for that long!

Brillant way to level the series in the last Test, lets finish of the job and win the 3rd Test. Loving the chance to play Asif, hopefully i can have many battles with him in the future.

Yep, just one more Test.

Confident CW XI Unchanged

As expected, the Cricket Web XI will approach the deciding third Test with no changes from the team that overcame Pakistan by 8 wickets. The series is level at one apiece, and given the performances of Rob Dauth and Greg Thomas on their return to the side, captain Brendon Goff is expected to pose the same XI with David Kearsley as 12th man once again.

CW XI 3rd Test squad:
BJ Goff (c), NS Pickup (vc), H Moerk (wk), T Mamesh, CR Butler, AP Cloete, RJ Dauth, MW Wilson, DA Kearsley, DM Kennett, GM Thomas, TC Halsey.

Perhaps it's just another Andy Cameron ploy, but the Cricket Web XI selectors have sprung another couple of bombshells with their latest squad choices

But congrats to Clapo and Goughy in getting in the squad, and good luck to the boys for the last test.

CW XI hold momentum and hunt series win
Cricket Web XI vs Pakistan - 3rd Test
The National Stadium

Brendon Goff won the toss and chose to bat first in pleasant conditions, as his team set out to seal an historic series win in Pakistan, entering the deciding 3rd Test at 1-1. With the pleasure of playing an unchanged side, Goff set up the game beautifully with one of the finest innings of his career. Pakistan fought back late on day one, however, and the competition raged intensely from there on out.

Excellent stuff lads! A win in Pakistan, don't think too many expected that.

Cracking series.

In particular, well batted Goff and well bowled Kennett and Pickup in the final Test.

International 12th Man
Extremely pleased to get the series win, and most excited to have actually bowled decently :D

A massive performance there to win the final two games so easierly in the end. A brilliant match from Goff, really coming of age as Test batsmen, a bit Fleming-ese. The most postive thing to coming out of the series are jig-saw pieces are starting to come together.

The batting order is starting to develop, with all of the top seven contributing when required with key innings. The spin attack is really developing into something special. Kennett finding his form again, was very solid throughout this series. Wilson continues to improve in the all rounder slot with both bat and ball. I can see him winning matches for us in the near future.

The only slight concern is the 2nd seamer spot. Thomas continues to work away without a lot of luck. Wright bowled well in the 1st Test, but had no luck with catches, story of his Test Career really. Got some good up and coming seamers so its just about finding the right person to partner Kennett it seems. A big A-series and Development League coming up for all seam bowlers.

Exceptional allround performance, with several people contributing.
Pickup again shone and is my pick for Man of the Series. A 5-wicket haul in each Test and a total of 21 wickets. 52 wickets in his last 8 Tests now. Insane form!

Magrat Garlick

Rather Mad Witch
Blewy and Wilson to open the bowling in the next series, IMO.

TWO - ONE!

(notable: It's CW's first Test series win in a series of three or more Tests...)
