Cook to reclaim his rightful place as opener in the next revolution of the ODI team that will win no silverware?

The last revolution forgot the meaning of grit

lol at Moeen's innings today. 37 off 16 balls.

I think he's maybe given up and doesn't give a ****. Some nice drives but kept on playing them and sliced a load past slip and aerially cover, and eventually (and inevitably the way he was playing) he got out, pulling a short ball to deep mid wicket.

Just didn't have the discipline. Maybe shouldn't have played today.

Big boy Sam at it again.

How can the selectors possibly resist weight and weight of runs of this magnitude?

3rd championship ton of the season for Alex Davies and we've made a decent fist of the reply after letting Hampshire recover from 125-5 to get nearly 400.

Good to see Joe Clarke finally get a decent score this season.

Although Durham are in a good position to acquire a lead I have a feeling this will be a draw somehow. Just cannot see Durham getting ten more wickets on that wicket, especially if we are losing the beginnings of today and tomorrow to thunderstorms.

Stokes and Wood were warming up during the lunch interval.

Vince slapped one straight to cover as the day was coming to an end. Just what you need when your battling for a draw. Him and Ali make a fine pair.

Thought it was a bit harsh on Harry Brook to ask him to bat 3 for Yorkshire on championship debut when you have ballance and handscombe behind him. Played some nice shots in the first innings.

Championship hotting up nicely. Looks likely to be Essex first, and Lancashire second come tomorrow night. Big gap already formed between bottom 2 (somerset and warwickshire) and the rest.

Hopefully relegation can clear out the deadwood and get us back to bringing young players through.

Pears cruising a big chase at the moment. Daryl Mitchell such a great county batsmen for them, and Joe Clarke finally coming to party.

Glamorgan to bowl out Durham in the final session to keep Durham in negative points??

Big win if Worcs get home against Kent. Potentially competing for one spot with Notts looking strong.
