Stokes being a tad over-aggressive here, much more valuable if he bats most of the innings than if he hits a dashing 20-30.

Will compliment the groundstaff for producing a good pitch btw. Far better than the terribly slow anti-cricket rubbish that are typically served up on Finals Day.

Could do without hitting the ball back to the bowler..
When has that ever happened at Edgbaston? All 3 finals days here have been quality

Durham it's a ****ing 20 over game. You've plenty of cod ordinary bats in this format, so take some risks. What you haven't got is quality stroke players because Stoneman and ginger numbskull are out.

Yea Jennings doing what Stokes should have done. Just bat through and he'd have scored quickly enough without overhitting/hoicking and losing his shape.

This is a bit of a breakthrough T20 innings for Jennings. It was probably going to come at some point because he's a class batsman - but it doesn't always translate into T20.

Oh well, hopefully they get the long handle out and make it count when the ball is there to hit.

Man if Durham had Stokes bowling on this with it skidding on, could get really ugly.

With Durham's lack of bowling depth absolutely anything could happen. If they block Wood out and get through the first few overs then there's not much threat and the ball should come on nicely.
