Except if you condense it into a 2-3 week period of fairly constant rain (or pretty much June this year) then the whole thing is killed off.

Great win, managing to nab a home QF spot as well. Jeetan/Ateeq are such a great spin double act. I don't believe we have the batsmen to win it though, to many plodders up the order.

Mason Crane 2 for 48 in 10. Nabbed Jayawardene as well. He has had a tough year, but I'm just glad he has bowled a fair amount of overs. Should be a good learning experience for him.

Seems to have coped pretty well really, given how Hampshire have struggled to field any sort of bowling attack all season, hoping we get some decent weather over the next month and he gets some reward.

Nonsense. How many Test matches have been entirely rained out in England? You lose the odd day, occasionally you might lose the best part of two days. Anything more than that is rare.

Also there's not a cat in hell's chance of the ECB condensing anything into 2-3 weeks. It will be a month at least.

Hope Mahmood goes well, but not the most inspiring bowling attack we have put out, Hampshire won the toss and going well already, could be a long day and we really need a positive result in this game - could be staring relegation in the face even after the good start to the season.
