Doesn't matter at present as no games are finishing anyway.Injuries starting to mount up for the yorkshire bowlers. Willey out for 6 weeks. Fisher has done his hamstring and is out for a few weeks. No news on a return for Sidebottom yet. Bresnan playing a second team game this week so should be back in the next couple of weeks.
Maybe follows the Australian mantra of just blindly not enforcing the follow-on against all common sense and logic because they spectacularly imploded against India once.Yesterday's deluge was widely forecast and makes Leicester's not enforcing the follow-on look downright stupid. Is Cosgrove known as a defensive captain?
More likely to be Kerrigan and Lilley I think - IIRC Lilley got quite a few games last year and did ok and is probably a better bat than Parry.I do hope that at some point this summer Kegs and Parry get a run out together in a Championship match or three
Definitely didn't brighten up, just stayed dry. Suns only now making its first appearance.More likely to be Kerrigan and Lilley I think - IIRC Lilley got quite a few games last year and did ok and is probably a better bat than Parry.
Anyway, great win - weather was awful when I drove south from Manchester this morning so must have brightened up sharpish.
tbf, Burns was pretty ****** in County Cricket as well. It's a shame Australia went with Joe Burns, because judging by his performances this season Cameron Bancroft would have fit right in to the post-Ashes Australia side.
